All Killer No Filler - Joe Cocker

Joe Cocker – today renowned as one of the most soulful and celebrated voices in rock ‘n roll – began his musical career belting out Ray Charles songs in the rough and tumble pubs of his native Sheffield, England. A hit with his interpretation of the Beatles “With a Little Help from My Friends” and a standout appearance at Woodstock put him on the map as the Sixties came to a close. His subsequent Mad Dogs & Englishmen live album, film, and extensive tour was wildly successful and soon his idiosyncratic stage manner was as famous as his powerful voice. Cocker’s cover versions of the likes of Dave Mason’s “Feelin’ Alright” and the Billy Preston ballad “You Are So Beautiful” have become signature classics for this one of a kind artist.
